The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI|) is a body established by an Act of Parliament, viz. Chartered Accountants Act, 1949, to regulate the profession of Chartered Accountants of the country, functioning under the administrative control of Ministry of Corporate Affairs of the Government of India. ICAI is the second largest professional body of Chartered Accountants in the world, with a strong tradition of services to the Indian economy and public at large. The ICAI has established its second Centre of Excellence (CoE) in its Centre Region, in the state of Rajasthan (i.e. Jaipur) to impart training to Government officials, professionals, CA practitioners and CA students in technical and non-technical (management, life-skills, etc.) areas.
